How 'bout y'all?

Finally some nice heavy rain to clear the air and a light show to boot! Hoping the weather guessers are right and we're in for a weekend full of rain.

Heck yes! Had .40 inches - a new record (the old one was 0.00). Bring it on!

I poured down here in LP/Avondale. Said we got over an 1" and it really seemed like more! Poured for well over an hour straight. Yard and pool are a mess though.

Might have known you'd say that.

Yup. I'd rather spend my weekend in the sun than rain. I moved away from weather for a reason

We keep getting missed, I haven't seen any measurable rain here for at least 7-8 months. Lots of wind and lightning though.

Were you not just telling us it is silly to live in the desert and then complain about the desert weather? It is monsoon season in the desert so I guess that only applies to the rest of us when we complain about the heat and not to you when you complain about the monsoon?

I for one love it out there today with the overcast skies and 86 degrees.

I'm jealous! All we got was a lot of thunder. Does that qualify as a "thunder storm"? lol Oh, I guess we got about 5 minutes of sprinkles too...barely. My online weather shows rain but all I see are some clouds. Maybe later?? At least it isn't really hot and there's a nice little breeze going through the house. I guess I can live with it.
