My fiance and I just rented a home in Avondale, in the Rancho Santa Fe subdivision (85392). She just moved to AZ recently, and I'm not even there yet (waiting to dump my house).

Anyway, she's all set to move in this weekend. We have to deal with turning on all the utilities, but do not know what utility companies serve that area. Can someone please let me know what water, gas, and electric companies serve that area?

Sorry for what's probably a very simple question, but I've never lived in AZ before. Thanks so much!!!!

Eric

this might help for part of it....

Avondale AZ - Official Website - Utility Services Information

maybe they'll even tell you who the other utility companies are you have to use...

I'm sure others here will tell you first, though!

welcome to Arizona...I'm sure you'll love it here....

Water will come from the city. If you have gas in the house, that will be Southwest Gas. Electric has to be either Arizona Public Service or Salt River Project. I'm sure the landlord can tell her which one.

Looking at SRP's service area map, the western boundary of SRP's service area is the Agua Fria River, and Rancho Santa Fe is west of it, therefore the electric utility is APS.
