People from the Northeast/Midwest who "escaped" the Southern culture and now live in Phoenix? So people who were born and raised in the NE or Midwest who then moved to the South and then to Phoenix? I'm confused.

In that case, I'm guessing you've never lived in the South. Haha.

I get what you mean by churchy culture of the South, but I don't know what you're asking. Haha?

I'm just asking if anyone from the Northeast or Midwest now living in the Phoenix area moved to AZ from the South because they were uncomfortable with the generally religious/"churchy" culture of the South.

I am from the Midwest and one thing that I like about Phoenix is the lack of in your face religious zealots like you experience in southern states. There's a reason I live here and not in the Bible Belt.

So your asking if an Midwesterners have moved to the South then disliked the religious culture they experienced there and then re-relocated to Arizona? Is that the question?

If the way you articulate yourself is any indication, then the only reason it is confusing to everyone but you, is because you are the only one who can possibly understand your own gibberish. "Haha."
