Maverick, I've been following posts on this forum for quite awhile and you always encourage me love your attitude! I know I'll feel the same way. We've been researching phx for 4 years...I am so excited to finally make the move in the fall. And like Elle mentioned, I too wish my life away about 9 months of the year. And the thing I despise the most about MT summers is it's too cold in the evening to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine. I am so sick of it here!!

And yes, I'll take the heat of summer over WI winters any day. It is supposed to reach 60 degrees here on Sunday, finally! The last time it was that warm was Halloween!
I was out on Halloween with the kids last year and I remember the temps only making it into the 40's that day. Made for some very miserable trick-or-treating.

Really looking forward to the predicted 60 this weekend. But then it's back to highs in the 30's and 40's again. Hopefully we won't have a cold summer this year. I remember some years only having a few summer days with highs in the 80's and that was it.

Totally wish I was living in a place like Phoenix right now, although I'm not sure I'd feel the same way in August. Still, I always much prefer being too hot over too cold.

Thanks Ponderosa. That was a knee slapper.

That is the plan cacto! I just want to make sure I can afford to buy a house and support myself once I get there. No going back for me!

I hope so too Elle Tea. The summers here are short, and usually hot and humid, so they aren't all that great either, although they beat winter by a long shot. Today it was in the low 60's and sunny, and I can't believe how great it made me feel.

It was in the low 90s yesterday and felt wonderful. I drive a convertible and driving home from work with the top down and the sun on my face...ahhhh!

Last night when the sun went down it was beautiful out as well. Still around 80 at 10 PM. It was in the low 80s in my apartment but didn't feel uncomfortable to me.

98 expected today.

It was 97 yesterday in Goodyear according to The Weather Channel and the forecast for today is 101. Way too early for 101.

But is going to cool to only 90 on Saturday! That means a cold front to the north that will kick up winds and blowing dust. Another lovely spring day.

I can easily deal with the heat, it is the dust that drives me over the top. Oh well, life in the desert.

A month ago I scheduled my pool to be drained, acid washed and the tile cleaned today and tomorrow. Had no idea it was going to be this hot already. Wondering if it is safe to drain the pool in this heat or if I should cancel...

Our "cold front" will drop to about 80 and cloudy. I don't mind that but I hate the wind. May is usually the windy month up here and I detest it. A breeze is nice but otherwise, forget it.
