Agree. We went for the first time a couple of weeks ago and really liked it. We enjoyed everything we ordered - oysters, escargot, and a cioppino special:

I was there last week. You will be greeted by the very nice owner. The burritos are unique. A little runny but the green sauce is to die for and the cubed beef is tender. The beans, guacamole, salsa were decent but nothing to write home about. The draw to Ritos is their green sauce burritos. No question about it. The place is closed at 6PM and not open on Mondays. I will be using it for takeout and exclusively buying the green burritos. Yum!

I am glad you are recommending it. I just noticed that spot yesterday. I will have to check it out!

What I love about Surprise is there are always new restaurants popping up every few weeks.

I just tried Keg's, Corks and Forks http://kegscorksandforks.com/ . I was underwhelmed. The cheapest dinner was a $12 burger and the average dinner was $16. They are in the old Country Kitchen building and they didn't do much setting including the bar. I guess they hired some of the Country Kitchen staff too and it shows (I bet our meal was prepared by the former cook). I could make a much better dinner at home. C Caliber food at an A price point.

In summary, they are way over priced and their food is just average. The don't have much dinner menu selections either. They are trying to be a cut above the competition quality wise but their ambiance and the taste doesn't match their prices. I won't go back and I give them 1 year tops before they go under. If you haven't gone there yet, save you hard earned $'s.

i go for the craft beer selection. Only food i have tried was the beer soup. It was good. They better get it together because they can't stay open solely on craft beer sales
