Hi radio101 here I was wondering does anyone have info on good places to eat in Surprise, AZ? What is a fun thing to do in Mesa, AZ? I will be in Surprise, AZ for one day and in Mesa, AZ for one day and was wondering what there is to do there.

I bumped this up because I'm waiting for a response myself on something fun to do in Mesa. The only thing I can think of is walking around Dana Park and eating at the new RA.

I don't normally think of the words "Mesa" and "fun" in the same sentence...

If your were a kid and this was summer, I suggest Sunsplash in Mesa.

Beyond that, just the hundreds of restaurants, shopping, movie theaters. And bird watching. There are tens of thousands of snowbirds clogging up our highways, streets, restaurants, hospitals and doctor offices this time of year.

Seriously, here's a link to Mesa attractions....

Not to sound nit picky, but what kind of food or types of places do you like to eat? Hole in the wall gems? Ethinc eateries such a Vietnamese or something unique to PHX? Or places better known for people watching?

And what's your idea of fun? My dad would find a library fun, mom would love shopping, brother would like an Apple store, sister likes music stores.

Also note that both towns are large and adjacent to others. If you want a walkable pub crawl, for example, certain parts of Mesa are close to Tempe's Mill Ave. Or it could be a bit too far, depending on your starting point. Same goes for eateries.
