Just moved in to a new house in the Vistancia area of Peoria and found this spider on my garage floor. Luckily I did not find any inside the home. Anyone else find these kinds of spiders at your residence? Seems to be a brown/arizona recluse from what I've found.

You may want to contact a professional insect control service ASAP. Those are dangerous spiders and if you found one you'll probably have others hidden around your house and possibly inside.
If you haven't already googled the spiders here is some information to read upon.

Those things can show up anywhere. I have a friend who had an encounter with one while he was building his deck. It was in a pile of lumber from Oregon. It bit him on his ankle and he had trouble for years after that.

I used to live in Oregon Scrat, and we had hobo spiders all over the place. Luckily was never bitten. Those hobo spiders were big, nasty and fast too. I set sticky traps in the garage and I had dozens upon dozens of them in the summer time.

bit on the ankle, two days later on the wrist, tore the bedroom apart, hiding under the night stand. Went to the doctor, only thing to do was neosporin three times a day, and antihistamines.

Youre most likely not going to have any adverse effects from a bite, unless youre highly allergic to their cytotoxic venom. I would recommend getting a reputable pest service promptly, just in case.

Those can be a problem in many areas of the Valley, unfortunately.

That's definitely a Fiddleback. They're prominent here in Oklahoma/South-Central region. I didn't think they went that far West. Perhaps he caught a ride in a moving box.

As others have said, if you have one you most likely have many. They are extremely difficult to kill. The only other spiders I know of that prey on Fiddlebacks are Cellar spiders. Calling the exterminator will not kill the Fiddlebacks (they're resistant to most pesticides) but it will kill their foodsource and thus they'll probably move on to the neighbor's house.
