Trying to expand my restaurant selection, and I feel like all that people are talking about these days are Sam Fox restaurants? Any suggestions?

Randy's in Scotts is old-fashioned, old-school and a stable breakfast/lunch choice....definitely not a hipster scene!.....nice change from the Breakfast Club BS and whatever restaurant-of-the-moment is hot in downtown Scotts....seems some people like to go to the Breakfast Club just so they can tell friends they went to the Breakfast Club.....

Randy's Restaurant & Ice Cream

Some other ones that haven't yet been mentioned:

Tomaso's in Phoenix for high-end Italian
Nick's Italian, several locations, for regular sit-down Italian
Pholicious in Peoria for pho
J&G Steakhouse @ the Phoenician for high-end steaks/special occasions. Incredible view from Camelback Mountain at night, lovely elevated patio right off the dining area.

There are a lot of restaurant threads here in the forum, some based on type of food, others more general. Lots of good suggestions in those earlier threads that you may not get in this thread. Do a search, and you'll see lots of discussion. Good luck!

My wife and I LOVE Chinobandido and drive about 30 minutes one way just to get it a few times a month. Their prices went up which made us go less often, I am cheap and it is about $18 for two without drinks, but they are still worth it.
