A lot of great info from everyone! My work is near Pinnacle Peak Rd and North Scottsdale Rd. I'm just looking to rent for awhile. I have a dog so a house is more appealing. There are some great deals in Cave Creek but I've been told I probably won't meet a lot of 30ish people there and I will probably always have to drive to Kierland area to meet up. I have looked into Desert Ridge area and that seems good.

I highly recommend North Scottsdale, should your budget permit. Home prices are quite variable in North Scottsdale, ranging from rather costly to otherworldly. We live in a lower cost area by North Scottsdale standards, but it is still quite accommodating. Fortunately, we were able to get a good deal back when everything was less expensive, and our investment has paid off. While we hoped to have a higher quality custom home, our incomes don't currently support what it takes to buy one in North Scottsdale. Even though we rate our home as somewhat mediocre by the custom built home standards we've been afforded previously, our neighborhood is still very livable and our neighbors are rather pleasant, even the gentlemen who blare showtunes quite frequently.
