I am recommending North Mountain and also Shaw Butte which is right next to it.
It has a great Visitor Center for relaxing and also the trails are not too strenuous but strenuous enough if you are not a regular hiker!
I regularly hike North Mountain and Shaw Butte, have done Dreamy Draw trails and also many others in the area but for just a short time in the city you do need to at least hike one of them, parking is easier at the North Mountain usually. The parking fills up early when the days are cooler, as the days get hotter it is easier to find parking spaces.
Also do make time for Sedona, for sure and if you have time take in Jerome and the drive through there! So much to see and do, I am new in AZ, been here 3 years, still exploring, will never run out of things to explore here.

Thank you so much for the recommendations everyone! I tried hiking Camelback but super duper crowded!! I just hiked Pinnacle Peak just now and it was easy. Looking forward to trying South Mountain next. I've eaten at Zinburger and Pizzeria Bianco so far.

At South Mountain, the Holbert Trail is worthwhile. About 45-60 minutes to the top and the same back down. I access it at the very end of 7th st, by the water tower. When you get to the point near the top where it seems to level out, watch for the trail that goes up to the right. Another five minutes takes you to the Dobbins lookout.

And when you're done, you are only a short drive to Los Dos Molinos on Southern.
