I'm a bit north of Old Town. When I do an internet search for "local butcher shops near me", everything that pops up is south of Old Town. Other than Whole Foods, is there any other local butcher shops that exist? I know Bull Market (101/Bell intersection) shut down a while ago, hoping there's something else in between there and the 202 that exists that I simply was unaware of.

What exactly is it that I need? I'm going to try and make my own honey baked ham, so I am looking for a ham shank.

French's Meat Shop.
Carneceria El Rancho (two locations)
Hobe Meats

Try searching for Scottsdale butcher shops instead of "near me" (I think the near me searches often produce inadequate information)

thanks, but any kind of search finds locations that are south of Old Town. I was hoping for something further north, but sounds like other than Whole Foods or AJs, there aren't any other options.

Fairly obvious and certainly not local, but the Costco on Hayden has an awesome meat department, and is one of the few places around that stocks Prime beef.

Not to be rude, but or OP said "a bit north of Old Town". I don't see that any of these places are THAT far away from you. . .
