I am looking to get a custom bar in my backyard, something with stone veneer, somewhat like this photo as far as size. I've never done stone veneer personally, but doesn't seem too complicated, so to have it custom built what do you think it would cost? Or to DIY with materials, cost?

Thanks!

Get quotes from landscapers. Most of them have Mason's out here so that's going to be your start. I'd guess under $2k but I haven't had a bar built before just walls.

Many landscapers will do this and will be able to give you a price per sq ft depending on what materials you're using and how it's built. Mines similar to you're picture without the stone and it was $325 sq ft (granite included). That included a footing, block built with rebar throughout the sides and all through the top. The top was a poured slab of concrete then the granite on top,5 electric outlets and the plumbing for the sink. Basically everything but the grill, draws and the access door. This was 2 years ago and most prices I received were all close in sq ft price. I can't remember what the added cost for stone was but it was more than I wanted to spend at the time and I used that money towards all the low voltage lighting.

Sorry I was rushing out the door while writing this. There's 12' of bar top @ $325' which included everything but the grill, sink draws and access door.
