I see a lot of discussion about SRP vs APS, but the City of Mesa appears to have its own electric service. Anyone who lives in Mesa, how bad/good is it compared to SRP?

The City of Mesa electric utility only serves Downtown Mesa and the immediately surrounding area. The rest of Mesa is served by SRP. I have heard their rates are higher than SRP, however, I don't know of any customer experiences.

I had Mesa Utilities for a bit. I didn't notice of they were higher or lower than the others.

Note that Mesa's gas utility serves a much larger area than their electric utility, serving most of the city except for the far eastern part of the city (which is served by Southwest Gas).
