Our registration is good until late 2020 and where we currently live emissions are not required. Will moving to an emissions area flag the registration or is it still good until renewal?

I know that, but will it require an emissions upon update of address? It's 10 days by the way

Why is it even an issue? If your car is in fair shape, just pay the fee and be done with it. The last emmissiins I did on one of my cars was $17.00.
Perhaps we need more information. Why do you not want to run it through emissions?

The car is fine. The entire point of the question is whether or not the vehicle will need to be tested if registration is current for two years.
