My family will be moving to VA this summer (either beginning of June or July). We are looking to rent our house in Maricopa since we were unable to sell. We have a 4 bedroom house in the Villages and near the near Elementary school. Does anyone know of a great place to post your home for rent so more people can see it who are moving to the area? Thanks for the help.

Well, since you're not allowed to advertise here, I'd look at sites that allow you to. Craigslist is a good one. You could list it with a realtor. It really doesn't cost that much, just a few hundred $. It will get to more people that way.

Craigslist is very good and free. Depending on sq ft you can rent it for $800-1000 though it still may be hard to find a reliable tenent who won't trash the place. I'd get a rental management company to screen applicants and collect the rent or you may end up with no money and having to do an eviction across the country. Being a landlord can be a giagantic pain in the @zz.

I would highly suggest you hire a realtor/property management co. Craigs list is a risk I would not take. We used Century 21 and they found a wonderful/clean and paying tenant for us in only a weeks time. The fee is very reasonable for their service.
