I thought I'd post this, in case you consider it useful, as I do. I sometimes want to take someone out to a place with a particularly nice ambiance, so I was glad to run across this. (My usual thought is T. Cook for the decor.)

This one isn't about the desert view it's more about the city but the relative newcomer to the rooftop bar scene is pretty awesome due to it's very central and historical location in the middle of downtown. I've gone a few times, it's a great spot.
