What's going on here???????

I know gas prices are crazy right now but come on, to close them down and just leave them there abandoned? Not too bright, valley of the sun!

Pretty dumb for the owners to just leave them there fenced up. Is there anything that can be done????? These vacant stations are detracting from the whole area.

Thats probably why. Full service, old stations with the old fashioned pumps and friendly services are being all replaced by modern day quick convenience stores to match the fast paced high speed lifestyles anymore. Maybe theyre getting ready to remodel those places? I miss those old days too.

I am not sure what you are talking about. All the stations that I see are new and look like they are doing great. Oh that is right, those are all in Surprise and are mostly newer facilities.

As far as remodeling the old stations their are a lot of issues with environmental problems. Kind of the same reason that Trotter Park is still a big unused, unsightly building near the 10 and the 303. The cost to remove it because of envoronmental issues isn't worth the effort. I am sure that the owners of the land are up for your ideas though. What do you propose to solve the problem?

All the MOBIL stations and their on the Run stations in Phoenix Metro area that have closed are MOBIL owned stations, not independents.
