As for the OP, welcome back. Not sure if the economy is any better here but best of luck regardless.
It can carry a $250 fine, but it would be easy to lie about an exemption to get out of it. Trespassing charges are the real teeth. When businesses require masks, as they must, they have the right to refuse entrance to those that refuse to comply and if they don’t leave, they’ll be trespassed. The whole thing is so dumb though. It’s really not that uncomfortable unless someone has a gross skin disorder or horrible oral hygiene. Otherwise, it’s no big deal and may help others.

I never thought there would be more cases in o e day in AZ than the num Dr of cumulative cases in Thailand, with 70 million peop!e and 20 million Chinese visitors last year, including numerous daily flights from Wuhan. No one is debating the masks, here in bkk, that is for sure.

Asia is proof of masks' efficacy. It's such a weird thing to turn into a divisive issue, but we have a good chunk of the populace that is so paranoid about some conspiracy in the works that they are willing to ignore logic, common sense and decency.

If there were any consistent data about masks, it might not be divisive. It all depends on what hour of what day and what source you are getting your data from. The use of masks and their efficacy has bounced back and forth since this WuFlu thing began, just like the reported number of infections and deaths. I've been skeptical from the beginning, and am growing more so each day.

The data is wholly consistent at this time. Those that have been brainwashed into thinking masks represent some sign of control or weakness will continue to use outdated data or data from questionable sources to justify their lack of compliance, but at this point, the medical community is in agreement that masks help to prevent the spread. It’s these paranoid conspiracy types that think skepticism is a valid response to a simple lack of understanding, when it’s really just ignorance.

Here is a great article about wearing a mask. It's a pretty simple thing to do that if nothing else shows you care about your fellow man.

This ought to be simple enough for anyone to understand:

Faucci and the SG both revealed they were misrepresenting the truth early on, because the mask were in such short supply that they needed to be saved for the front lines. 711 sell them here.. 2 packs for 40 cents.

Thailand is awesome. We are well aware. You remind us all the time.

So I am brainwashed, subscribed to paranoid conspiracies and lack understanding, but really I am just ignorant because I question the status quo. I am in awe of your ability to read all of that into my stating that I question the numbers we are being given by those in authority. Your thinly veiled dressing down of those who question these mandates is verbose, straight out of the Michael Eric Dyson style of jamming as many words as you can into one sentence to sound intelligent. I had visions of you rocking back and forth on your feet as I read your spiel.
