I have no idea how many people have stocked up for a year. It only takes a 20% or so increase to throw things out of whack.

Some of you need to stop.

I was in Frys yesterday, and they were well-stocked with all the major brands and off-brands of toilet paper. In fact, the most well stocked they have been since this all began.

Agreed.

Walmart online has as much TP as anyone could want, including seemingly endless variations of the much-sought-after Charmin.

"I love this Charmin strong toilet paper. I ran out last week and was using duct tape. Charmin is quite a bit better than duct tape. I highly recommend Charmin Ultra Strong." -- actual review

Relax, everyone.

There still seems to be a shortage of hand sanitizer and antibacterial hand soap.

There is no shortage. You just don't know where to buy it.

From what I understood the premium brands (Charmin, Cottonelle, Quilted Northern) were the last to sell out in the shortage, since I presume when stocking up people didn't want to spend a lot of money (plus the premium brands typically include fewer sheets per similarly sized roll). Kirkland Signature was highly sought after during the shortage since they include a lot of rolls/sheets for a low price.

No problem at Trader Joe's this morning. Paper products have been in steady supply there since May. The virus may be everywhere, but supply chains seem to have stabilized.

Lots of T-P at my Safeway in Peoria but can never find our fave Scott brand. For some reason they have tons of "bamboo" T-P and other brands I never noticed before. I can find Scott brand at Fry's but they've a limit of one item per customer. Safeway has a two item limit on these items.

Scott 1000 seems to be a favorite for those with septic systems since it dissolves rapidly.

I noticed Walmart tends to stock a lot of Angel Soft, as well as Sparkle paper towels. I wonder if they are getting a better deal from Georgia-Pacific to get more shelf space.
