Here's another sub-category where maybe someone might have suggestions.

With the briefly cooler weather but also the rain right now, I was trying to come up with places for lunch that have nice back patios that are actually covered. Or any that even managed to keep the patios cool when it gets warmer. Preferably on the east side of town. I had one Scottsdale suggestion, but it's a little pricier, so I'm open to ideas.

Garcia’s in Tempe, at Warner and McClintock
BJ’s at the Chandler Fashion Mall, there may be others at the mall as well
Jewel of the Crown in Scottsdale, perhaps too expensive (?)

Although not covered, the back patio at Joyride in Gilbert has misters and is a nice little enclosed space. Two dollar tacos all day on Tuesdays, and five dollar pitchers of beer until 5pm. Not a large beer list, but they are decent beers (not Bud/Coors/etc). This is the best deal I know of.

Thanks, so far Twisted Grove sounds most promising. Thanks for the reminder about Jewel of the Crown, but something funny they're close for lunch due to covid. Not dinner, just lunch. I understand, but it sounds funny.

Can't believe so many ordinary places start their sandwiches at around $15.
