I'm looking for a quiet coffee place where I can sit and drink coffee, relax, chat with friends, do crossword puzzles.

I just gave up on Starbucks because they play horrible music at full volume.

Are there any quiet coffee places in or around the 85032 (NE Phoenix) area code?

No music. Just peace and quiet.

32 Shea and Press Coffee. Both are at 32nd Street & Shea Boulevard, just south of your target zip code. I know 32 Shea plays music inside, but it has a nice shaded outdoor area that might be quiet. I can't recall if Press plays music, but I don't remember anything loud there.

I wouldn't say they play horrible music (guess it depends on the store) but I do find it loud.

I make it a point to try and find a seat away from the speakers

Those we're the first I thought of as well, both solid options up North.

You mean PVCC's cafeteria or is that the name of a coffee shop?

McDs makes good coffee. Or used to. The "ambience" varies by location. Before the pandemic I liked them as a place to have a cup of coffee by myself.

College cafeterias aren't a bad idea. You can usually find a place to socialize or be alone, whichever you prefer. Their coffee ain't always that good. I've never tried them when I wasn't a student tho.

This is east, not north, but there is a Peet's cafe inside the Capital One bank at Fashion Square. It's rarely crowded, and there are various nooks, so you can find a quiet spot, although I can't remember if they have music or not.

There is a place called Cortado Coffee Roastery that has good coffee. They do play music but it is pretty quiet and it is at Union Hills and 32nd St.
