I'm looking to purchase a new home. I own multiple mom and pop businesses across metro Phoenix all the way from Southwest Phoenix to Central Phoenix, North Glendale, Mesa, and Chandler. I came here a few years and bought a home in the East valley due to living close to in-laws and without knowing the areas much. But I can't do it anymore due to the constant distance driving to my businesses. So, is there a good area where I can kind of be in the middle , near freeways, and be able to hit all parts of the valley? I prefer to be in Phoenix.

If you want to check all your boxes, while still being in a very safe and affluent neighborhood, check out the Willo Historic District in Central Phoenix. It's pricey, but from you post it sounds like you can afford it.

Actually, many of the Phoenix Historical Districts check all your boxes, Willo just happens to be my favorite. Take some time to acquaint yourself with the different historical districts. Google them, streetview them, go visit them, check Zillow listings in them, and feel free to post back with further questions.

What's your price range? Are you looking for a SFH or a condo? What is your ideal square footage, and what specific features are you requesting in a new home? You prefer to be "in the middle", but does this mean an urban location like central Phoenix, or a suburban area? Do you prefer to be close to amenities, such as shopping, nicer restaurants, sports arenas, etc.? All these things will make a difference in location, and what kind of neighborhood will fit your needs.

Arcadia or the Biltmore would be my recommendation. Hop on the 51 and go anywhere.

Homes in Phx area there are older ranch; some are remodeled; and are still reasonably priced (beginning in the 400s). You have plenty of realtors here on city data, if you need one, including me, and if you need lender referrals etc. to help you see what you qualify for and if it's feasible for you.

This is a great suggestion as well, assuming that your budget is fairy flexible.
