read the paper, drug dealers busted selling esctacy to over 500 kids including fountain hills. You think this town is great? Think again. Nothing for them to do but drink and do drugs. Money gets them out of everything. Kids bully the underprivlidged kids, the schools wont do anything about it. Think twice before you bring 5 kids to this town, unless you are rich.

LOL, careful casting stones from a glass house. Just because a few kids do dumb things doesn't mean that the entire youth population of FH is as you describe! Sounds like a little bit of reverse classism to me...instead of the rich thinking the poor are street gang hoodlums, thieves, etc. the middle class and "underprivileged" are casting the same stones...hmmm...this crap just breeds misunderstandings.

Do you have a link or reference to the drug problem you mentioned above? I think it's a good idea for the OP to read the entire story. If I remember correctly, FH students were a very tiny portion of the 500 (or whatever the accurate number is) students.

Our 2 boys (8-10 years old) are thriving here. There are plenty of hiking/nature trails close by and our boys just love to be taken out to explore. They visit the Desert Vista park frequently for soccer practice. The splash park is also their favorite place for them to be wild during summer . I heard there are awesome charity organizations in town that children can be involved. This can be a good opportunity for them to understand the importance of sharing and giving back to people who are in need.

Fountain Hills does not have a movie theater or fancy/cool shops/stores that kids can hang out. But it definitely offers my children different types of activities that they happen to enjoy.

BTW, bullies are everywhere unless you can provide me a few names of schools with no bullies .

People lets not be so quick to judge. OP did not state whether he/she was gang-o-phobic or was looking for a gang to join.

Good point. To the OP- There are some AWESOME gangs in FH. But like many things in FH, the dues can be expensive.

Regardless of "Gang free" communty claims the entire valley is distraught with gang activity. As long as local PD's have there hands tied from controlling these problems they will continue to grow.

During the next elections vote for people who will allow upholding even minor laws instead of ignoring them.
Examples:
Red light running: We complain, we say we do this and that but we are in the top 3 in the country.
Speeding: See above.
Tail gating: (Not partying) See above.
No Insurance: Wait for it.....See above.
Illegal aliens with stolen vehicles: One more time, see above.

Well it seems your concerns are being answered: the biggest drop in crime of any major U.S. city (Phoenix), a 24% drop for the homicide rate, a double digit drop in auto thefts and a ranking of #1 city for this in 2006 to #19 in 2 years and a continued steady decrease thus far in 2009. A ranking of Phoenix as the SAFEST big city to drive in and a huge drop in accidents; including fatal accidents. We are on the right track and NOT done yet!!!

Right...I'm sure that is the best place to score drugs. Got any photobucket links for your dealers to post?
