Just ate at the new Culver's on Cave Creek and Rose Garden. (Phoenix/Cave Creek.) I loved it. First time eating at a Culver's and I'll definitely go back. Great fries. Friendly help. Super clean. Food was hot off the grill.

And everybody looked so wholesome!

I think the food is pretty darn tasty but pricy. I occasionally go to the one at 8th. St. and Camelback that is staffed with nice kids (apparently from Brophy and Xavier). Give Dairy Queen a try. I will go to the one at Central and Camelback or 42nd. St. and Thomas. The food is cooked for the order and the ice milk products are very decent for half the price. If I want to pull of all the stops I will go to the 5 and Diner at 16th. St. and Highland. Not cheap, but the food is sooooo good. 24/7

Sounds like a trip to the cardiologist is in order after that butter burger.

I'd agree with the tasty but pricey. I'd swing by for a frozen custard once in a while, though!

On a related note,

I thought Smashburger (59th and T-Bird) was a big overrated flop. Culvers and In n Out are tastier.

I'm a fan of Culver's - my favorite is the fish sandwich. I'm sorry to hear the bad reviews - I was impressed with Culver's when I used to sell cleaning supplies and a new one opened in my area. Had a nice chat with a regional rep - one thing you might not know is that the owner is required to work in the store - you can't buy 25 stores like you can with the other food franchises.
