It's damn cold out there, isn't it?

According to Weather.com, it's currently 46* yet feels like 39* with the wind chill. Not to mention it's been raining on and off for the past 2 weeks, last night it rained non stop for hours here NW Phoenix, we must of gotten at least 1.5"+ of rain.

Default I am loving it!

It is almost perfect, not to cold but just enough to be comfortable in a jacket. I wouldn't dare complain, we will be roasting soon enough

I'm in Sedona so it's even colder here....I need some sun...we have however escaped the snow, unlike parts of Tucson, according to their posts. I have lived in the PNW (BRRRRR and YUCK!) so I am ready for it to end!

While the SLOWbirds migrate to the RV parks in the outskirts of the Phoenix metro area for the sun & warmer temps (compared to where they're from), I look forward to chilly, rainy weather like what we've had off & on for the past two weeks or so. I think a good share of those who are native to the Valley become tired of the heat & sun after so many years, and actually welcome a taste of the Pacific NW during the winter. Although, I'll admit that I'm not too crazy about low temps in the 30s ... that's a bit too cold for my tastes, but I loved the rain. The wetter, the better!

For those who are new to the area, this kind of weather is actually pretty normal for this time of year. December through March tends to be the wet season here ... but our winters are still not as rainy as San Francisco, Portland, or Seattle. Our winter climate is actually pretty close to San Diego's in both temperature and average rainfall.

Hey, it could be worse. I live in Minnesota right now, and we have been dealing with -40 degrees and blizzards consistently all month (it's usually not this cold in December). You are so lucky!

It is a tad chilly for my liking. The weather reporters are saying we will be lucky to break 50' today. That said, it is a good 90' warmer than Minnesota, and would be the "average" for Cleveland where I came from...for late April for perspective. And would be By Monday we should be nearing 70' again. Hopefully our couple weeks of winter is over and there's nowhere to go but up lol!!! And...at least we don't have to shovel it.

You guys are lucky. It is 28 degrees right now in Las Vegas. They are only forecasting 43 degrees for the high. I hate it.

Gosh, I am grateful for this weather!
Granted we are in AZ and it's a little cold, but when I was talking to our old neighbor in norther IL, they said the folks who bought our old place never winter-proof any of the windows. Which means, during their recent cold wave there, those windows most likely were iced and frozen, from the inside! I remember those days and nights, standing by the windows and could only see about half inch of ice!
