Looking around the Phoenix area and these caught my eye. Anyone know if it's a good area? FYI: Single white guy, 32, no kids, no pets, not a party animal.
Thanks.Tuscany at Chandler Apartments - Chandler, AZ 85224

I dont know alot about the area, but do travel through the area just WEST of the 101 and Chandler Blvd over by McClintock. THAT side of the freeway is very nice, and even exceptionally nice once you get up into Tempe near Warner/McClintock. Im not sure if anything is significantly different over on the east side of the 101. My guess is probably not too different.

Lots of shopping nearby including the Chandler Mall....

This is one of the few areas of Chandler that isn't very nice. I drive past this place ever day on my way to work. You'll need to be south of the 202 if you want to be in a nice neighborhood on Alma School. Check arround Ocotillo there are several nice apartments in that area. Your best bet though would be to go through a rental broker and try to find a Condo or house to rent. Owners make better neighbors than renters most of the time.

It's not too bad but I agree stay south of the 202.

Not really, just wannabe gangbangers if anything. It's just older and run down. More overgrowth and unmaintained homes litter etc. A lot of loud cars with loud stereos. By no means unliveable there's just much nicer areas. There has been in increase in home invasions and car break-ins etc in that area lately.
