Oh, OK. I thought it was Spanish. In Spanish it means fuse, I think. So I was reading that we are no longer blue collar fuses.

Jobs are scarce, much worse than the government unemployment figures. Probably more like 20% if they counted everyone looking for work.

I note that store and restaurant employees are incredibly polite and helpful now, that was not the case in the past. Kind of unnerving to be asked if "Can I help you?" in every aisle at Home Depot when in the past I couldn't even find someone to ask a question; the store employees were usually all off in a corner talking to each other..........

Ya because the first few people just told me it was a silly question and I just deleted it thinking they would all think I was a troll then I added a note saying this thread should die, and I have been watching this topic everyday seeing people are now having a big discussion.

Nope I just deleted mine because I was hoping this would die if people are just going to tell me its a silly question, but I am glad this is still going because I have gotten a lot of answers that I didn't know about before I started it.

Hey, we're just funnin' with you. We know you are up there an igloo somewhere wishing you were here. BTW, I heard it warmed up?

I find it annoying. Old men like myself go to Home Depot to get away from the wife. We don't like to be questioned whether we found everything we were looking for today or whether we need help. It is nearly as bad as staying at home and hearing "when are you going to finish taking down the lights?"

Lol you are right I am wishing I was there, ya it has warmed up and I been going outside without a jacket, but it still is cold, but isn't freezing bitter cold. Even though Minnesota ranks high in education and has like below average unemployment or something, and Arizona is ranking high in unemployment and low in education, I still like the overall state better like weather and scenery and everything.

Plus the roads in Minnesota are pure crap, I am amazed everytime I look places like highways in Phoenix up on youtube and see how beautiful it is.

Actually, I heard someone on this board specifically say that phoenix and las vegas used to be blue chollar mechas, I don't remember if it was the phoenix board or somewhere else, but it was somewhere on city data
