Does anyone know where I can buy the cheapest cartons of cigarettes in Central Phoenix? Not off-brands, and not on-line. I currently smoke Marlboro Menthol 100s, but a bit flex as long as it is a major brand and Menthol.
I searched the internet and found On-Auk-Mor a reservation trading center, but, gosh it is 30 miles from here.
Any suggestions?

My suggestion is to try to give up smoking.

You will save money, feel better and healthier, and be more odorfree so others will find it more pleasant to be near you.

You beat me to it. I was going to say the same thing. I personally wish cigarettes would up to $10 a pack if you ask me.

I thought the indian reservations had cheaper cigarette shops. I'm a non-smoker and former second-hand smoker. I avoid rental cars that stink of cigarette smoke - I consider it gross, rude, and piggish of renters to stink up cars and hotel rooms and ruin it for non-smoking guests.

Even so, I would not want to deny anyone their smoking habit. I have my own vices. Keep morality and government out of it.

I read recently that New York State is going to try and go after the Indian reservations for cigarette tax.

If they're able to do it, I wouldn't be surprised to see the same thing here considering the budget problems in Arizona.

Giving up smoking is the best option - the extra cost here could be that one last incentive, as if there weren't a lot of reasons to quit already.

If you can't, or won't, then the reservation stores are cheapest, and may not be 30 miles from you, depending on exactly where you are.

I don't know where you live in Phoenix and I agree with the others....you should try to quit, but if you don't want to or can't manage it right now...

Head down to the Gila Indian Reservation. 51st Ave south of Baseline Rd, and go past the casino entrance. There is a Shell gas station (at Pecos road) down there that has reasonably priced cartons and single packs. Watch your speed through the reservation, they're sticky about speeders out there.

I'm trying to quit and I make the trip there to buy cigarettes when I just can't do without. A carton of Marlboro any flavor is $49.85 tax included. It's a whole lot less expensive than others places around town and worth the short ride in gas money.

Sorry ahead of time, folks, I'm sure there'll be repercussions for this info, but he/she asked so I'll oblige?????
