they did find a mystery also, even though the camera is over 10 meg its only capable of 1550 lines of resolution which is just touching into their accceptable range. they werent sure if it was related to the fuji sensor which has a radical design to it.

it features all the electronics on the back of the sensor while trying to cram as many pixels into the surface of the sensor as they can.

that would account for the poor iso performance but they werent sure why the reduction in resolution.

another thought was it was related to the noise reduction software..

if you like to do panaramas they also found this isnt the camera for you, it seemed to have a lot of issues stiching them together.

on the plus side they did find that super range zoom to work very well.

I was not able to find that review from Pop photography, but I spent weeks researching the Fuji HS 10 before I bought it, and so far I am pleased with it.

No, I screwed up and forgot to set the ISO properly on the HS 10...The ISO in the first photo is 800, but only 100 in the second...I didn't realize it until I checked to see if the exif data was available....Mark it down to a brain fart.

Fabulous shots!! I am really struggling with this Fujifilm HS10!! right now all my computer will recognize is the jpegs and not the RAF files soooo can't do much with the photos. I will post some of the jpegs...having major issues trying to download adobe camera RAW 6.2...any suggestion...oh and my hard drive is about max'd! hahaha out of frustration I go back to shooting with my Nikon D80 and D70s!
