Sorry to repost the story and picture, but this version is much better resolution: These are the loud geese who squeeked, yelled and called other geese when I tried to photographed them. (while visiting their owners and keeping at least 20 feet distance!). They even tried to peck my car as I left! You can see how one of them is calling more geese to come join. I think he was planning a coup d'état since I dare take their picture.

I checked up on them this morning. Something got the tree swallow eggs, the shells are all laying on the ground in front of the nest box.

Two nest boxes of bluebirds have hatched, the robins and the downy woodpeckers have hatched too. I don't have much chance of taking a photo of the downys, they bored out a hole in one of my tree stump, in and then straight down. I can hear them and I can see the mother using a small mirror, but no chance of a picture.

I found a Towhees ground nest, no hatchlings yet.

Great shots Triumph! I can't make up my mind if that chick is cute or homely, green legs and feet, green eyes and face.

I'll have to check on my nest boxes to see how my birds are doing.

The redwing blackbird nest has four eggs, I figure they will hatch sometime this coming week.

A shot from June tenth with a P&S and another from yesterday.
