Went to Maui last week for a conference my wife was attending. Stayed in Wailea - due to the conference, we stayed put.

1. Breakfast view

2. Sunrise

3. Dark clouds over Haleakala:

4. Ulua Beach:

5. Manicured landscape in Wailea:

6. Diving gear on Wailea Beach:

7. Footprints:

8.

9. Luau (which was actually more fun/interesting than I expected):

10. Approaching sun-down:

11. Sunsets were somewhat of a disappointment; we didn't really get any of the gorgeous sunsets with lots of colors. The clouds were thick low in the western sky right around sunset. This was probably the clearest sky we had:

12. The sun was completely hidden behind the clouds except for a very short minute or less on this occasion:

13. This time we didn't see the sun at all, but got some very interesting colors:

Fuzz - everything's right about every one of your shots! They're tack sharp and beautifully composed! May I ask what your camera/lenses are?

Thank you. Camera was Canon 40D. Lenses were Sigma 10-20mm, Canon 16-35mm, and Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 MkII.
