Hi -- I'm going on a business trip to DC in 1-2 weeks and it just happens to fall during the peak cherry blossom bloom. I've heard this is quite the thing to see, I was wondering if anyone had any tips of photographing this. If there are any places better than others to shoot or certain "spots" that work well.
For cherry blossom viewing you will have to visit Tidal Basin (Tidal Basin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia), best place to view cherry blossom against the backdrop of monument. The bloom is expected to peak between 8 Apr and 12 Apr.
