MrsM and I toured Scotty's Castle - Death Valley National Park (U.S. National Park Service) on our recent vacation. This is an extremely old tapestry that was in a very dark room. (think one 50 watt light-bulb in a very large dark room) I was about 6-10 feet away

I decided to see how far I could push my 5DMlll and EF 24-105 f/4L IS lens

This image was hand held, 1/30th sec, f/4 at iso 25,600

Let's see if we can keep this going with your low light images

Honestly, I'm still learning my DSLR... but it was way down on the FStop on Aperture mode... it might have been 1/1000? I also had it on 55 mm with the lens.

I set my Xe-1's maximum ISO to 3200. It can go a lot higher, but it starts to look pretty bad so I avoid it. Pretty much every night shot I post is at ISO 3200.

This was extremely low light. I almost didn't get it to take.

Where did my pics above go? Am I the only one who can no longer see them?
