Make sure your batteries are fully charged when shooting. And empty the card often to your computer where they can be burned to disc.

Question Static ~ can it become a problem

Just thinking about “static” when handling the memory card of a camera? Would this be a potential problem in some cases of removing a memory card and if so what should a person do to avoid any problems?

Always make sure the camera is "OFF" before removing or loading the card. Could you have pushed the format button and deleted them? I'm still learning but those might wipe out your photos.

Default deleted photos

I purchased a pay ware data recovery application call Flash File recovery. It is a very good program and when I had lost files, I could recover them no problem. And it have a good tool for formatting the hard drive or USB drive. Flash File Recovery download flash recovery software for Windows

You are lucky that this accidental operation doesn't bring you many troubles. Remember next time that if you want to recover deleted photos, don't take more photos to this camera card, this is important!
