I have a Canon Powershot A630 and am looking into upgrading to a DSLR. This caught my eye...what do you think?

I think it's a good choice. Buy it and don't look back! Make sure to learn all the bells and whistles and post lots of pictures!!

Thanx for your replies. My first digital camera was a Nikon Coolpix. My second the Canon A630. I did have a problem with my Nikon Coolpix and decided to go with a Canon the second time around. I am still open to a Nikon and if anyone knows which Nikon model would be comparable to the Canon I am interested in please let me know. I would like to compare the two and read some reviews! Thanx so much for your help!

Blondie, you might want to look into Nikon D60 or D80 comparing to Canon.
