EinsteinsGhost - I'm likely partial to cats because I am a cat person but really, this is a great photo. I have always found it difficult to take a picture of my cat without her being too distracted by my camera.

Thank you! I thought the above picture was a nice follow up to a parrot on a couch, with the cat looking at it.

I'd an opportunity to take a bunch of cat pictures last weekend, and did. They made for a challenging subject since the lenses I was using required full manual control and they were more keen on showing off than posing. But, I was patient opportunist... here's another of the shots (a different cat) which I'd posted in another thread last night:


Camera: Sony A55
Lens: Jupiter-37A, 135 mm/f3.5
ISO800, f/3.5, 1/40s, 135 mm (35 mm equivalent: 200 mm)
