I had surgery last Thursday and have been unable to get out and take any pictures since then. Here's my first shot since the surgery of my wound site just above my right knee and about 3-4 inches long. I had vein bypass surgery done to help the flow of blood to my lower leg, I have another similar wound up in the groin area that will not be shown. They took a foot long piece of artificial vein and put it in place, to get around the blocked area. And yes it's very very painful, Thank God for morophine and delotta and percocets.
Your wound looks good, from a nursing stand point, even though it kinda looks like an inch worm at this point! lol Pain meds are your friend, take them as needed. Your body heals better when you are not in pain.

Too bad some of our hospitals dont think so really I cannot tell you how many times I have been in pain in a hospital and they tell you oh now I think you are exagerating . Oh okay hows about i punch you in the face tell you Oh now I think you are exagerating . LOL.
