I've been using pbase the last several years. Recently started using flickr some too (some friends hang out with a local flickr group and i like the community aspect of it).

Zenfolio have just added a premium plan that allows you to add your own logo and also select your own pris for prints sold off the site, giving you as much profit from sales as you'd like.

Zenfolio | hosting service for photo galleries | a place to learn and enjoy photography

Can't find such a place...

However, there be:
PhotoHost | Free Image Hosting (broken link)
and
Dedicated Server Pic Hosting
and
Photo Hosting - Resources

The first two are either semi-dead or just not much at all to 'em, and the 3rd is more of a ad-generating type search site...

I've used use ImageShack as a hosting site for several years, for pictures and avatars. It will resize your photos automatically and give you the options of using a thumbnail link, direct link, embedded link or a full size link for forums and websites.

And it's free!

I also use Photoworks as a photo printing site. I have thousands of photos stored there in twenty or thirty different albums. Albums can be shared individually for viewing or printing. Prices for printing are reasonable and storage is free.

I use the free version of Photobucket...1 gig storage and 100 gigs of monthly bandwidth...Lots for me. I have never had a problem downloading multiple images either.

One problem with Photobucket is that they resize your pictures, so you'll have to keep all of the originals either on your hard drive or elsewhere.

I have accounts with Zenfolio and Smgmug.
