I had never heard of a distinction between different parts of Squirrel Hill until I started researching homes. Although I was aware homes were nicer/larger around Forbes and north compared to those further south, my main concern was whether a home would be worth significantly less just due to the fact it was south of Forbes even by 1 block since it doesn't fall into the "North of Forbes" neighborhood. Specifically, I was looking at some nice looking larger houses in the area that is just south of Forbes, east of Shady, near Frick (mentioned by Scrapp earlier in the thread).

I think everyone answered the question, its maybe slightly less desirable but shouldn't be a real deal breaker.
