I realize many churches have a contemporary service, but we'd prefer a church where the entire church worships in a contemporary style. Traditional style worship mixed with contemporary style is okay too
Any ideas for us? Thank you!
A lot of the larger, contemporary churches are located north of the city, in suburbs like Wexford and Cranberry, while Mount Lebanon and the South Hills have mostly mainline churches. Two that may fit the bill are South Hills Assembly in Bethel Park, and South Hills Bible Chapel in Peters Twp. If you're willing to drive farther, large contemporary churches like Christ Church at Grove Farm, Orchard Hill, and Northway are about a 15-20 minute drive north on I-79 from Mt. Lebanon.

Just moving to the South Hills area, have there been any additions to the contempory churches near by. I like the modern music and philosophies too.

I am Catholic and do not attend this church, but have heard many good things about
South Hills Assembly on Bethel Church Road in Bethel Park. I believe their services
are in the style you have described.

Allegheny Center Alliance Church on the North Side is a large church with a mix of urban and suburban congregants.

We have mostly contemporary worship with a little traditional thrown in from time to time. I will say though, even the traditional music is usually rearranged to a more contemporary sound by the musical director. I haven't heard a straight forward hymn there in a while.

I think this is what the OP had in mind.

Northway Chrisitan has other locations. There is one in Dormont and most importantly there is one in the East End.
