and this is the response I got. I don't even know where to begin. How the hell does this even make me a troll?

The Housing Bust from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Edit: I'm aware that I forget the 'd' on decided.

I think it comes across as condescending to people in Las Vegas when you go on their board and say "here are some articles about how bad your city is doing. Oh, by the way, I am in Pittsburgh where things are so much better." If someone from a different city came to our board and did that, we would probably react defensively, too.

Probably the best answer out of both of the threads. I see negative stories on Florida, California and Detroit all the time. I would not dare post those stories in their forum section. I do not live there so why does it matter to me.

What matters is where i live now.

You can't see why that's trollish?

That's really wierd to me that you would do that. ...Look at me! Look at me! I would like to have a serious discussion about my belief that I'm awesome and you suck!... Like the adult version of the kid at recess who picks on people to counteract his low self esteem.

Is this really that weird? What you wrote describes every internet argument ever.

Do you really think you're not "stirring up sh--," Brad?

That was not my goal at all. I liked the articles and wanted to share them, not cause a fight.

I wasn't trying to, I wasn't bashing the city. It's not as if I didn't share anything and just said the city sucks. There's nothing rude about asking about the problem there considering a housing crisis didn't happen here.
