An hour north on Rt. 79 are the outlet malls at Grove City. That is the only big place I know of that has a ton of places in one location.

Grove City Premium Outlets

There's the Tanger Outlets on I-79 near the Meadowlands in Washington County. Truthfully, though, I've always found outlets to not be a bargain at all. You can find quality clothing on sale at department stores or specialty stores for the same price or less. Outlet shopping isn't cheap anymore.

I hate to shop, but found that if you go into each store of interest and ONLY look at clearance racks, you can do quite well. Regular priced items aren't much of a deal. You do have to inspect for quality though.

Burlington and Gabriel Brothers are probably your best bet to find a wide variety of clothes for a reasonable price. Gabes is much better for women than for men though. Burlington is a good place to find coats and such. I really miss Value City.

I agree that TJ MAXX or Marshalls will give you better deals if we're talking pricing then the outlets - heck I find the prices better at Macys when they are having a sale then at many of the outlets. Outlets are decent for the variety of stores, but for value, I find them lacking (and also beware that some of the outlets have lines that are strictly made for and sold at their outlets that are of substantially lower quality.)

The problem is the OP is looking at the worst time possible. Winter is coming, so prices will be high on just about everything. Now is a great time to stock up on summer clothes, as that is what the clearance racks will be full of. Unfortunately the best time to buy winter gear is March. A few years ago I got a $200 down jacket at Macy's for $40.
