Hello, I'll be visiting Pittsburgh from July 10-20. Staying in Mt. Washington with a couple photographer friends who have recently moved there from Houston and I'll be staying with them in Mt. Washington.
Here are a couple of collections of the type of photos I like to shoot, from Houston and Austin. Pittsburgh has a lot to offer to this end, it seems. I'm looking forward to walking around your tahn n'at. (is that correct usage?)
My buddies will probably show me where they like to go, but they're pretty new to the city. Any place less known about I should go? I know about Point State Park. I'll be right across the river with a nice view of downtown. Hoping to go off the beaten path a bit. Not just in Pittsburgh, but places nearby within a reasonable drive. I live where it's flat for 100+ miles in every direction, so the terrain will be a nice change.
Also, it would be beneficial that I need to eat or any local beer I need to drink (we'll assume I'll have a Yuengling or three, I need others) to make a 1 1/2-week long stay in Pittsburgh complete.
