Compared to Saudi Arabia and Kansas City...absolutely not.

PGH is not boring We miss the city. You have so many ethnic foods and areas. We moved to Ohio 10 years ago and still miss PGH. Columbus does not compare. Our taxes are better in OH, but we sure miss the entertainment, clubs and restaurants. The Strip District for sure. Parmantie's sandwiches, yum

I'm from NyC and lived in Dc,Fl so Pittsburgh is extra boring. Downtown closes around 7pm-8pm on weekdays........weekends 4pm-5pm. Some people here are very closeminded and uncultured.......Its all a matter of opinion I guess though!

I moved up here from FL and don't find Pittsburgh boring at all. If you like the outdoors, this is the place to be. I'm in my mid 30's so this place has the activities that are exactly what I am looking for. But someone in their 20's may want more nightlife I guess. As for the comment about some of the people being very closeminded and uncultured....well...um...I can't disagree, many are.

Just to clarify....

You are studying in Kansas City but are asking about Pittsburgh, right?

Do you mean Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania? -- or Pittsburg, Kansas, which is 2 hours south of Kansas City?

Pittsburgh is not boring - You just have know where to look - Downtown is still a nieborhood in transition....But if you know what neighborhoods to go though throughout the city, it can be very it can be very entertaining.

And there is plenty of culture to be had in PITT

Pittsburgh is the least boring of the Rust Belts Cities.
