Personally I can't take pizza recommendations from native Pittsburghers. What you guys typically like is definitely not my style (Beto's, Police Station, Campiti's? Yuck to all). I'd take a'Badamo, Claudio's, Harry's and certainly Cucina Bella & Il Piz over Luciano's in a heartbeat.

And if you said "beats any pizza from New Haven" I'd have to find you and beat you.
Nah, I just love sticking it to NYers that only believe they know how to make pizza.

They have 3 other locations, the one I frequent the most is in Soulless McCandless. Worked in a building next to them about 20 years ago and got to know the owners. Good people that work hard.

Love Luciano's. Best pizza I've had in Pittsburgh.

I would really like to see a Giordano's Pizza here.

The Container Store.

If it has nothing to do with the one in Bethel Park I might have to try it when up that way.

I will admit, I stopped at the one in BP, and it was terrible. I told the guys at McCandless how bad it was and they just nodded. Must be a family thing.

They are opening up a Carabba's in McCandless Crossing at the beginning of next year. For Romanos, I have been seeing quite a few commercials for them over the past couple of months which hints that they are planning to move into the Pittsburgh market (the same happened with Carabbas.) I agree about BJ's, although I have only ate at one in LA, their food is amazing
