Today is actually the 13th anniversary of last time I was at the zoo. I drove out here from Boston to be with my wife the night of 9/11. We decided we did not want to see people the next day. The zoo did the trick.

Thx for the reminder. We went today and had a fab time. Feeding Lewis the giraffe, photos with the elephants, crazy limas and monkeys, it was great fun and a beautiful sunny day. made us wonder what it's like in winter - at least then the sleeping polar bear might be enjoying the weather
