We recently moved to the Fox Chapel area. It seems like there are so many preschool options! Does anyone know this area well? Fox Hill, Adat Shalom, Good Shepard, and Fox Hill have all been recommended. Are any of these schools feeders for certain elementary schools? It would be nice for my kids to make some friends that they would go to elementary school with in a few years.

Okay, where are you living in Fox Chapel? What is your elementary school?

Most of my Jewish friends sent their kids to Adat and they all seemed to like it. I know a few people that sent their kids there that aren't Jewish. For the most part they lived pretty far out in either Fox Chapel or Indiana Township. Guessing they liked the location of Adat. Adat isn't that close to a lot of people. For example, where we live there are 3 preschools that are closer.

Fox Hill I think is small. I think they have a policy where the kids are dropped off and the parents don't go in in to the school. Good Shepard has always had a nice reputation. I would probably send my kids to the preschool at the Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church.

If you are in the O'Hara feeder pattern then go to the preschool at the Presbyterian Church without a doubt.
