I don't know if anybody saw this, but here is a latest rendering of One Grandview from Design Collective who is partnering with Mosites. I must say it is much more impressive than the previous scaled down rendering of a year and a half ago. I hope they can pull it off.

This looks incredible! I live in Mt. Washington and have heard nothing of this new rendering. Have you been able to find any additional details?

This is all fairly hot off the press. You see, Design Collective is partnering with Mosites in the massive East Side development. Mosites was asked to get into the Grandview project because they are a reputable company that builds quality, not crap like Continental Real Estate. They then asked their partner in East Side Design Collective to help them come up with something more impressive than Lawrenceville based Desmone and the developer Beemstoer had planned for One Grandview In fairness, the intitial plans from 2010 were impressive. The ones that came out two years ago were way scaled down. This was not going to be acceptable for that tract. Mayor Bill Peduto said in a recent press conference that Pittsburgh needs to stop settling for "that's good enough" as if we are desperate for any development. We can demand and get high quality and it looks like this Design Collective out of Baltimore has good vision. It's a process and lets keep our fingers crossed. If we are lucky, maybe an announcement later this year?

This looks really cool. Is that an infinity pool I see?

That pool looks like it's hanging off the cliff. Not something for people with a problem with heights! overall this concept seems better than what I remember seeing in older renderings.

there was a small excavating crew with a dozer working the site over the past few weeks. they graded off and added a bunch of gravel to the upper section right below the wyoming/grandview intersection. Not sure if that means they are getting things going or it was just to clear up the area of debris and foliage
