For my birthday, I wanted to do a wine tasting, buy a bottle of wine and then head to a BYOB place. I'm trying to think about the best option for BYOB. I was looking into cure. I see that it used to be BYOB. is that still the case?...

any other recommendations would be helpful as well. thanks!

I went there over a year ago and they serve wine, pretty sure cocktails too. Not sure if you can BYOB. Might be a corkage fee? Food, wine, service was excellent.

Pretty sure once they started serving alcohol it was no longer byob, unfortunately. One of the reasons I used to go there more frequently than I do now.

In terms of recommendations, Gaucho is BYOB. However they don't take reservations, so you'll likely have to wait in line. They are pretty efficient though, table turnover is quick.

it is good but honestly not really something that i crave or need to have. i can cook well at home and go out for the atmosphere and to relax which is far from the experience at gaucho. if gaucho sold their sauces though i would be all over them.

Avenue B is one of the better BYOB spots if you're looking for something fancier than Gaucho or a Thai place

I think piccolo forno is BYOB. I can't really think up any places that are in the league of Cure that do BYOB anymore.

I've been to both of these places and even held a small private event at Piccolo. Both places are great. Piccolo Forno only takes reservations for parties of 6 or more. I've never really had trouble getting a table but also have never gone there during prime time without a large party. My wife and I really enjoy both places.
