Might mean cheaper rooms on Priceline, which will be good for me.

Hmm, that rendering does seem like it would be able to hold way more than 56 apartments as is already, unless these apartments are planned to be quite large that is.

Ugly and the market is oversaturated. I mean really. Better ways to develop downtown than throwing up buildings that look totally out of place.

How does this look out of place? We already have a mixture of old stone structures and shiny new glass. You don't want retail in that space? Hotels bother you, why?

Which market are you claiming to be oversaturated? Parking, residential, hotel, retail?

It is wayyy better looking than the former Saks building, which by the way looked very out of place there.

I think there are to many hotel units right now in the city to meet occupancy... I know hotel indigo is far from here but it shows that their isn't a need.. should have made a mix of apartments and hotel rooms

What are their occupancy rates at Indigo? I sometimes scope out their valet parking lot and at times it can be very full. But maybe your view from Mt. Washington is better.

Also, there was another Hotel Indigo just approved by the planning commission for Pittsburgh Technology Center. You may be right, but you also don't seem to know the economics of the hotel industry.
